Job Title: Mitigation Estimator

Job Description:

We’re in search of a dynamic Mitigation Estimator to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment,
excel at meeting deadlines, and possess a keen eye for detail, then this role is for you. As a Mitigation
Estimator, you’ll be responsible for estimating jobs using Xactimate and Symbility Software, communicating
with client managers, and managing adjusters.
Candidate Qualities:
– Ability to estimate mitigation jobs in Xactimate and Symbility/core logic
– Knowledge of insurance process for handling / processing claims
– Understanding how a home / business structure is constructed.
– Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting deadlines.
– Full-time availability with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
– Engineering or architectural degree preferred, or equivalent estimator experience.
– Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
– Proficient in Xactimate and Symbility Software (No exceptions, proficiency in these tools is mandatory).
– Strong math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
– Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
– US experience is advantageous, but not mandatory.
– Availability to work daytime EST with flexibility for some weekend shifts.
– Highly responsive and quick to communicate.
– Reliable and committed to scheduled shifts.

Tasks
1. Estimate all mitigation jobs using directed software. Currently Xactimate and Symbility/Core Logic
2. Communicate with Client Managers on job requirements and equipment
3. Update in a timely manner all software interfaces for program work based on carrier guidelines
4. Compose applicable notes for all jobs assessed in directed software
5. Management of Adjusters
a. Communicate to adjusters/inside examiners what job entails, and request/document in
approved software approvals
b. Authorize specialized equipment with paying authority, in house adjuster, or field adjuster.
Document in approved software with what is approved and named person who approved.
6. Other activities as directed by supervisor/owner
7. Actively participate in weekly sales and production meetings

System Requirements:
Processor: Minimum ICore-i5 quad-core for both primary and backup systems.
Memory: At least 8GB RAM for both primary and backup systems.
Available Hard Disk Drive Space: A minimum of 10GB for both primary and backup systems.
Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit), MAC OS/X, or Ubuntu 19.10.

Internet Speed:
Primary Connection: Wired plan with a minimum speed of 15Mbps.
Backup Connection: Download speed of 5Mbps or higher, upload speed of 2Mbps or higher.
Internet Connection: Must be a home-owned/in-house DSL/FIBR/Cable connection.

Backup Power Requirements:
Power Generator, high-powered inverter, heavy-duty power banks.

Compensation
$7 per hour
Bi-Weekly Salary
