Mortgage Loan Processor

We are Virtual Team Services, a US staffing agency recruiting, training and matching remote candidates for the real estate industry in the US.

This will be a full time role of 40 hours/ week, working as a contractor for an established US mortgage company. Searching for long term contractors with prospect of 1 year + retention.

The main role will be working as a junior mortgage loan processor remotely: Supporting a US mortgage loan team in obtaining and processing documentation to file loan applications. Ordering and verifying important income, taxation and titles information by communicating with various entities and identifying potential issues in applications.

Job training will be provided by an US mortgage professional and expert coach to equip candidates with valuable and specialised skills to become a loan processor and develop a career in the field. Candidates completing our training program will be placed into our agency roster and presented with the opportunity of stable, long term and ongoing employment in a high demand specialisation.

Jobs include:

• Perform thorough review and analysis of borrower’s credit information before submitting to underwriting.
• Assemble the complete loan package in proper order for underwriting.
• Verify all required documentation in the file.
• Complete the required loan checklist.
• Verify that an application is complete and accurate; and identify any potential issues that may arise in underwriting.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Applicants must be able to work US hour Monday to Friday, 11pm to 7am Filipino time.
• University degree or related certification or experience.
• Fluency in English verbal and written communication.
• Strong numerical, comprehension, critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Background or experience in engineering, finance, banking or real estate preferred.
• Strong attention to details and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Computer knowledge and capabilities.
