You will be writing YouTube scripts that are at least 3000 words long. The script must contain a recap of the movie and 3-6 commentaries/explanations that either give clarity to the film’s events or analyze the themes, characters, or recurring patterns.

Hours are flexible; you can make your own schedule as long as you have a consistent turnaround for your script.
This is a permanent Work From Home setup.

How to get the job:

2: Write a 1-page recap of a movie of your choice. The recap should not cover the entire movie, only the scenes that you can cover within that space. At the end of the recap, write at least a hundred words of commentary or explanation based on the scenes that you’ve written and colour code/highlight it. Kindly read the samples linked below to have a feel of the kind of writing we’re looking for and to better understand the needed commentaries/explanations. Be sure to send the script to my discord. Please use Google Docs and add your username to the title. STRICTLY NO AI-GENERATED SAMPLES OR PLAGIARISM.

The summary should be:
– Grammatically sound with good writing and appropriately varied sentence construction
– Clear and easy to follow. Tip: avoid run-ons or sentences with too much action packed in it
– Accurate to the movie
– Engaging and entertaining. You can play around with the prose or small, unobtrusive quips. The writing should also contain some depth and emotion to it, not just what the characters are doing.

I will be judging your writing skills on these traits:
1: Prose and grammar.
2. How entertaining, engaging, and accurate your story telling is.
3. How well you follow directions.
