Job Description

We are looking for an applicant that can work between the hours of 8am and 5pm EST and has a strong understanding of hardware/software/networking and technical abilities. The applicant MUST speak English fluently. Applicant must also have at least 2 years of experience as a managed service provider.

We are a small IT operation out of Indiana USA looking for technicians. We are currently expanding our operations and are looking to hire a full-time Computer Support Engineer. We want to hire people who are passionate about technology and are driven to learn more. We are a very laid-back operation but growing very fast. We have been servicing our customers for 10 years.

Job duties would include but are not limited to:

•Handle inbound calls from clients with various issues.
•Manage / Install printers
•Install/manage various routers
•Manage/configure Microsoft office 365 including tenant setup
•Monitoring/Implementing backup systems
•Install, upgrade, and configure workstations/servers
•Install/manage client networks.
•Install / Manage firewalls and networking equipment.
•Install / Manage VoIP phone systems
•Setup / Manager VPN networks
•Help users with technical issues such as QuickBooks not opening company files over the network.
•Provide assistance with troubleshooting software/hardware/telecom problems
•Assist with the breakdown, relocation, and set-up of workstations to accommodate users’ relocations, site relocations, site remodels, and any new location installation
•Maintain secure patch levels on workstations as needed
•Hard drive data retrieval (using third-party tools to retrieve information from damaged drives) as needed
•Able to problem-solve changes in products and new challenges
•Remotely troubleshoot client problems
•Enter support information into the ticketing system detailing steps used to resolve client issues.
•Take on additional duties as needed.

Must be/have:
•Able to work in a fast-paced and high-stress work environment
•Able to communicate effectively and professionally
•Able to focus on work in a noisy work environment with frequent distractions, and noise
•Able to pay attention to details
•Knowledge of technical troubleshooting skills and should be able to identify product issues with minimal knowledge of the item being worked on.
