We are looking for someone who has a passion for computers and technology. An “all-rounder” with excellent communication skills to join our fun and supportive team.

About the role:

As the key member of I.T Team , you will be building our Managed Services ICT Offering businesses and clients in Australia the full suite of Managed I.T Services, Cloud/Desktop Apps, Voip Teleco integration. You will take ownership of your assigned projects, and ensure we deliver excellence in customer service and provide the highest possible level of technical expertise.

Actively managing and providing end-users support and maintenance within the client’s desktop and related hardware/software environments.

This includes troubleshooting, installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware/software and equipment to ensure optimal workstation and overall technology performance.

We are looking for a candidate with intermediate skillsets in the following fields:

· Providing end-user support for Windows 10/11 and Mac OS desktop operating systems
· User creation and administration of Microsoft Office 365, including Exchange Online and SharePoint
· Able to configure a modem and firewall from scratch to work with new internet connections
· Connecting workstations in an office environment to the network via switches and patch panels
· Setting up multifunction printers on the network in Active Directory environments
· Providing end-user support for email systems, including troubleshooting bounce-back error codes and SMTP settings
· Website hosting, domain name registration and DNS records
· Creating extensions on VOIP systems, provisioning new phones, and changing call routing
· Troubleshooting faulty computer hardware, SSD/RAM upgrades and UPS battery replacements
· Using remote monitoring and management tools to maintain devices remotely

Windows Server 2008 – 2019
Exchange 2013, Office 365 – admin/support/migrations
Active Directory, GP, Microsoft SQL
Hyper V, Terminal Server, VPNs
Switches, Routers exposure

Your responsibilities:
Maintain and administer systems across Microsoft Stack apps
Ensure service quality through technical competence and attention to detail
Strive for high levels of customer feedback, maintaining effective communications with your clients
You will be able to quickly troubleshoot problem areas by telephone, or via remote access in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
Essential Skills:
Demonstrate a minimum 2+ year’s practical experience in an in-house or outsources IT support environment where you have dealt with multiple different end-user client environments
Provide level 1 & 2 customer support
Extensive experience in Microsoft Windows/Exchange Servers/ Active Directory maintenance/ Office 365 / Azure
Ideally exposure to firewalls/cyber security issues/products such as Sophos and other related security software
Technical knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, etc.
Strong overall Microsoft stack support experience

The candidate must also have basic skillsets in the following fields:

· Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy
· Understanding of core concepts regarding ITIL, IT managed services and ticketing systems

You will be working for a diverse range of clients.

This role requires you to create, update, and maintain technical documentation of the systems that you work on, and to track your time including writing meaningful notes while working on client requests to enable easy handoff between team members and for billing.
