Multifamily Real Estate Underwriting

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Virtual Assistant to assist with underwriting multifamily real estate deals in the United States. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of real estate investment, specifically in the acquisition of multifamily properties ranging from 20-60 units. The role will involve analyzing cash flow, conducting due diligence, and generating relevant financial reports to aid in making informed investment decisions.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive underwriting of potential multifamily real estate deals, focusing on properties with 20-60 units.
2. Review and analyze property financial statements, rent rolls, and operating history.
3. Evaluate property cash flows and conduct financial modeling to calculate potential returns and risks.
4. Prepare detailed financial reports that include cash flow analysis, property valuation, and return on investment.
5. Conduct market research to analyze trends, property values, and overall market conditions.
6. Collaborate with the acquisition team to develop and present deal packages.
7. Assist in the preparation of investment proposals and presentations.
8. Provide administrative support as needed, such as managing calendars, setting up meetings, and maintaining files.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field.
2. Proven experience in underwriting multifamily real estate deals.
3. Solid understanding of real estate financial modeling and valuation.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and real estate software applications.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
9. Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic.
