BACKGROUND
Vocal Pockets is looking for a person with experience in music production/composition to help with one or more of the roles below. If you’re looking for a job related to music production, this is the place to do it.
Vocal Pockets is a company that provides tools that help music producers improve the feeling of their music (/pages/supergroove). We have created a first-of-kind product called Groove Builders which producers love as it gives them a way to get the best groove and bounce in their beats.
JOB SUMMARY
Role 1: Create and export MIDI chord progression. For this role, we are looking for someone with music theory knowledge to develop chord progressions covering different genres.
Role 2: Edit MIDI. For this role, we are seeking someone who understands MIDI and how it can be used and modified in a DAW. This person may help with MIDI-related projects in the future.
The work is remote, so you can do it in the comfort of your own home, with no long, draining commute 🙂
Additionally, we are flexible with your working hours/days. We’ll provide a deadline for the project and you can complete the project any time that works for you before the deadline.
COMPENSATION
We pay once the project is completed and can pay via Payoneer.
Pay starts at $3 USD per hour.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You must have fluency with English.
You must be detail oriented and diligent.
You must be responsive to emails that we send to you (respond within 24-48 business hours) and open to discussing the project over Zoom or similar conference platforms.
You must be a good problem solver.
You must be comfortable executing an agreement to reflect your contractor role.
You must be knowledgeable on how to use a DAW like Logic Pro X to transpose MIDI files.
ROLE 1
You must have knowledge of music theory and developing chord progressions.
You must also be open to learning new genres of music and generating chord progressions that fit the new genre.
