We are looking for a brilliant musician who’s a total music theory nerd to help us create learning resources and content for our music theory website.

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience in music theory and education and be able to create a wide range of resources, such as practice exam questions, worksheets, and lesson plans for students and teachers to use.

Responsibilities:
– Evaluate and improve existing resources to ensure their effectiveness and relevance
– Creating practice worksheets and exercises for students on different music theory topics using music notation software
– Writing and improving guides on different music theory topics for our website and creating appropriate images to help them learn

Requirements and Experience:
– Excellent English – verbal and written
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music (must be able to read music effortlessly and have a passion for teaching music theory)
– Composition skills
– Experience with using Sibelius or other music notation software
– Experience using Canva to create the worksheets
– Experience with Photoshop for formatting images
– Impeccable attention to detail – It’s vital these resources don’t have errors in
– Ability to think creatively and come up with new ideas for useful resources
– An eye for good design
– Highly self-motivated

Important: When applying, please tell me about your favorite musician, band, or composer and your favorite piece of music by them, and why you like it so much. This is so I know you pay attention to the little details.

Hours and Pay
Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can start part-time (20 hours a week) and quickly transition to full-time once you’re up to speed and have proven yourself (40 hours a week).

Pay ranges from 30,000 to 50,000 PHP a month. Please state your desired salary in your application.
