Our company is a leading agency specializing in comprehensive natural gas solutions for businesses. We help clients optimize energy usage, procurement, and reduce costs. We seek a motivated, results-driven individual for our Natural Gas Outbound Sales Lead Generation Specialist role.

Job Summary:
The Specialist will be responsible for cold calling, prospecting leads, and setting up initial meetings to introduce our services. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English, possess prior outbound sales experience, and effectively communicate our service’s value to potential clients. Training will be provided.

Scope of Work:
The SDR identifies and qualifies potential clients, initiates contact, and sets up initial meetings for the sales team, focusing on industrial customers in California who use natural gas.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Research (partially provided)
• Identify potential clients in industries like manufacturing, chemical plants, food processing, utilities, and refineries.
• Use industry directories, business databases, LinkedIn, and government reports to compile a list of prospective
companies.
• Maintain and update the lead database with accurate information.

Prospect Outreach (partially provided)
• Develop and execute outreach strategies via email, phone, and social media.
• Personalize communication to address specific needs and challenges.
• Craft compelling messages highlighting the benefits of our natural gas solutions.

Qualification of Prospects
• Conduct initial conversations to understand current natural gas usage, challenges, and needs.
• Qualify leads based on established criteria using a consultative approach.
• Gather relevant information for further engagement by the sales team.

Appointment Setting
• Schedule initial meetings or discovery calls between qualified prospects and the sales team.
• Coordinate calendars and ensure all parties are prepared.
• Follow up with prospects to confirm appointments and address any concerns.

Collaboration with Sales and Marketing Teams
• Work closely with the sales team to develop and refine target lists and outreach strategies.
• Provide feedback to the marketing team on campaign effectiveness.
• Tracking and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system.
• Track key metrics like lead generation, conversion rates, and appointments set.
• Provide regular progress reports to the sales manager.

Qualifications:
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or telemarketing.
• Strong ability to build rapport and establish relationships.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools (excel spreadsheet)
• Knowledge of the natural gas industry is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
