Job Description

Creating a digital course or downloadable product is a great way to share our knowledge and expertise with the world.

Here are the steps involved in the process:

1. Our topic will be basic Wash day essentials and steps for natural hair including easy style options to keep your hair healthy in between salon visits.

We are passionate about healthy hair, product knowledge and educating our guests on how to properly manage their hair at home.

We know a lot about how to care for natural hair/naturally textured hair.

What basic problems can we help people solve?

Once you have a general idea, then we you can start to narrow it down and come up with a specific topics/chapters for your course.

2. Do your research please of natural hair, African American hair and naturally textured hair.

Once you have a topic, it’s important to do your research to make sure why there is a market for your course. Look for other courses on the same topic, see what people are saying about them, and identify any gaps that our course could fill.

3. Outline your course content.
Now it’s time to start planning the content of your course. What modules will it include? What will each module cover? What are the learning objectives for each module? Once you have a good outline, you can start creating the actual content.

4. Create your content.
The content of our course should include these various forms videos, audio recordings for Kimberly, written text, and other helpful guides if you think of any that may help.

5. I would like all of the content to be created using Canva unless you find something better that we can both see the process and have the opportunity to make corrections through out. Choose a platform for hosting our course.
There are a number of different platforms that you can use to host your digital course. Some popular options include Teachable, Thinkific, and Kajabi. Each platform has its own features and pricing, so be sure to do your research to choose the one that’s right for you.

6. We have a website that we can add the course to and would like you to add the tab to the site and make it stand out.
Your course website is where people will go to learn more about your course and purchase it. It’s important to make sure your website is well-designed and easy to navigate.

7. Market our course.
Once your course is created and hosted, it’s time to start marketing it. There are a number of ways to market our course, such as social media, email marketing, and paid advertising. I’d like you to create a selling campaign and plan on how to best convert leads into sales specifically for our new course.

8. How can we monitor feedback and make improvements?

Once our course is launched, it’s important to get feedback from our students. This feedback will help me improve my course and make it even better for future students.
Here are some additional tips for creating a successful digital course:
* Keep it short and focused. People are busy, I don’t want my course to be longer than 1 hour.
* Make it engaging. Use a variety of formats and multimedia elements to keep our students engaged.
* Be clear and concise. Make sure our instructions are clear and easy to follow.
* Offer value. Our course should provide value to our students. What will they learn that they couldn’t learn on their own
* Our course will be priced competitively, but it should also be worth the price.
* Be passionate. Our passion for your topic will come through in your course and will make it more enjoyable for my students.
