Need Bookkeeper For Our Agency

We are a marketing agency looking to hire a book keeper that will help us consolidate and keep track and properly categorize all our spendings to be able to always be ready for taxes.

As well as make sure the proper amount is accounted for that we need to pay vendors/ contractors every week

This is an ongoing gig but the first job/setup we need before hand is helping us account for all our taxes from the year of 2022 & the year of 2023.
We need you to first go through all the our bank statements from the year of 2022 & year of 2023 and properly put them into the correct categories to be able to file our taxes (we are behind on taxes for the year of 2022)

Once this is done, we can start the ongoing bookkeeping tasks of categorizing all the spendings, making sure teams/vendors are paid, etc

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

– Help properly categorize all our expenses, revenue, income,etc into the right categories and be ready for taxes

– Make sure teams / vendors are paid and the amount that needs to be paid to them

– At the end of year preparing a proper profit/loss sheet and sheets showing al spendings, categoriesetc to be able to send to an accountant to file taxes

– Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion in handling sensitive data.

REQUIREMENT:

– Proven experience working in bookkeeping roles, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. (1-2+ years professional experience in book keeping/ accounting role for a firm or clients)

– Any professional certificates, qualifications, in accounting, cpa, etc

– Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar programs and tech savy orking with any new softwares,etc and Microsoft excel sheets, google sheets, Gsuite,etc

– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping.

– Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with vendors, suppliers, accountant, and owner.

– Can provide references for clients as well as also accountants you’ve worked with

– Bonus points if you have worked with a marketing/advertising agency before (or service businesses in general)
