.Net Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled .Net MVC Developer for a project-based position focused on transitioning an existing .Net MVC web application. This application currently interfaces with a QuickBooks Desktop company file via WebConnector to synchronize customers and invoices. The project entails converting this application to utilize the QuickBooks Online API, ensuring seamless functionality and preparing the ground for potential future enhancements.

Project Overview:
• Duration: Project-Based
• Focus: Convert an existing .Net MVC application from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online integration.
• Future Potential: Adapt and extend the application for additional functionalities post-conversion.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze and understand the current .Net MVC application architecture and its integration with QuickBooks Desktop.
• Design and implement a strategy to transition the application to work with the QuickBooks Online API, ensuring feature parity and data integrity.
• Develop, test, and deploy updates to the application, maintaining high standards of code quality and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for future enhancements and integrations post-conversion.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade the application as needed to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Document development processes, changes, and strategies for future reference and compliance.

Technical Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in .Net MVC development and familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop and Online platforms.
• Required Skills:
• Strong proficiency in .Net MVC framework and C# programming.
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop integration and a solid understanding of transitioning to QuickBooks Online API.
• Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for potential UI adjustments.
• Experience with MS SQL Server database management and back-end development.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Project Management: Ability to manage project deliverables and timelines efficiently.

Pay is hourly and Time Doctor will be required. Looking for someone to work 40 hours per week. Minimum pay will be $6/hr USD, but let us know your wage requirements if that is not satisfactory.
