We are looking for a strong C# .NET Software Engineer with DevOps expertise for custom manufacturing automation and custom rules engine.
We need a good communicator; someone willing to collaborate daily with clients and our internal team.
Contract expected initially for 6 months, with a good chance to extend. Many projects tend to run 12 to 18 months or more.
Design and develop highly custom .NET applications. Create and integrate with robust, scalable REST web services. Collaborate with other engineers on code reviews, internal infrastructure, and process enhancement.
BS Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, and/or 3+ years of professional experience in software and strong understanding in object oriented software.
At least 3 years of experience designing applications and components for commercial systems; including application architecture, frameworks and data modeling. Strong C#/.NET (including generics), REST, JSON. Angular or UI development experience.
At least 2 years of experience with databases, e.g. SQL Server and TSQL scripting.
Experience with CAD modeling tools from Autodesk (Inventor, Revit, Fusion, etc.), and technical drawing including dimensioning and orthographic projection highly desired.

Other Desirable Skills/Abilities:
• Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent work experience
• Microsoft or Autodesk certifications a plus
• Must be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities
• Experience with manufacturing, knowledge based engineering, and business process a plus
• Knowledge of Autodesk products a plus
• Professional consulting experience a plus
• Management experience a plus.
