Contract: Part-time Remote Contractor (80 hours monthly)
Business Hours: 10 AM – 2 PM EST
Rate: $400 USD – $600 USD monthly

What you’ll do

The client is looking for an ERP Data Entry Specialist with experience in Netsuite. This role involves meticulous data entry, documentation, and system maintenance to enhance supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will contribute to compliance standards, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate seamlessly across departments. The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

Data Entry and Management:
– Accurately enter shipment details from factory sources into the Netsuite ERP system.
– Record and process goods received in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
– Input bills and invoices into the system, verifying details for accuracy.
– Generate and maintain the certificate of conformity as required, ensuring compliance with standards.

Documentation and File Management:
– Save and organize PDFs and relevant documentation associated with shipments and transactions on the company server.
– Maintain a systematic and easily accessible filing system for all relevant documents within Netsuite or shared drives.

System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
– To ensure data integrity, perform routine system maintenance, such as clean-up and regular updates.
– Troubleshoot and resolve data entry discrepancies or system-related issues in collaboration with IT or relevant departments.

Collaboration and Communication:
– Coordinate effectively with factory personnel, procurement teams, and other departments to gather accurate information for data entry.
– Communicate any discrepancies or issues related to data entry promptly to relevant stakeholders.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:
– Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards while performing data entry tasks.
– Ensure accuracy and quality of data input to maintain high standards of information integrity within the ERP system.

Training and Development:
– Stay updated with ERP system functionalities and upgrades to enhance efficiency in data entry processes.
– Provide training or guidance to new employees or team members regarding data entry procedures within Netsuite.

Reporting:
– Generate regular reports related to data entry tasks, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement if necessary.

What you should have

– Proven experience of at least three years as an ERP Data Specialist or in a similar role.
– Proficient in Netsuite or other ERP systems.
– Previous experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment is a huge plus!
– Knowledgeable at generating and interpreting reports to highlight key metrics and areas for improvement.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
– Previous experience working remotely is preferred.
– Excellent organizational and communication skills.
– Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
– Knowledge of compliance standards and quality assurance processes.
– Familiarity with routine system maintenance tasks, such as data clean-up and updates.
