NetSuite System Developer – Senior

Job Description:
As a Senior NetSuite Developer, you will be a key member of our MIS team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions within the NetSuite platform. Leveraging your expertise in NetSuite development, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our NetSuite environment to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:
1. Customization and Development:
Design, develop, and implement customizations and enhancements within the NetSuite platform to address specific business requirements and improve system functionality.

2. SuiteScript Development:
Utilize SuiteScript (SuiteScript 1.0 and/or SuiteScript 2.0) to build custom scripts, workflows, and integrations, automating business processes and enhancing system efficiency.

3. Integration Management:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to design, develop, and maintain integrations between NetSuite and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization.

4. System Configuration:
Configure and maintain NetSuite modules, including but not limited to ERP, CRM, SRP, SuiteCommerce, ensuring alignment with business processes and best practices.

5. Technical Leadership:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and cross-functional teams on NetSuite development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.

6. Performance Optimization:
Identify performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the NetSuite environment and implement optimizations to improve system performance and scalability.

7. Troubleshooting and Support:
Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and bugs within the NetSuite platform, providing timely support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and stakeholders.

8. Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain thorough documentation of customizations, integrations, and development processes, adhering to established documentation standards and compliance requirements.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in NetSuite development, including customization, scripting, and integration development.
• Proficiency in SuiteScript (SuiteScript 1.0 and/or SuiteScript 2.0) and SuiteBuilder, with a strong understanding of SuiteCloud development tools and methodologies.
• Experience with SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteBuilder is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of ERP and CRM concepts, with previous experience implementing and customizing NetSuite modules.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within the NetSuite environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• NetSuite certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer, etc.) are preferred but not required.
