Network Administrator

Job Summary:

This is a full time role for someone with IT experience in computer networking. The role will mainly involve common network maintenance and the ability to communicate back to our US based team when needed. Understanding network and security concepts is essential to this role. We are looking for a dedicated person who is commited to excellence.

Main Job Responsibilities:

1. Managing the Onsite & Offsite backups
2. Process Reports for customers that have to follow compliance regulations.
3. Manage the schedule for Offsite backups to make sure backups get offsite in a timely manner.
4. Perform rolling updates for Unifi Equipment. This has to be done after our business hours.
5. Respond to alerts showing drive or raid issues. If you can’t solve the issue research and create notes for the team on the US side.
6. Alert the US team if any machines have been offline for over 30 days and help keep our RMM software up to date.
7. Ability to configure Cylance and Datto EDR to make sure things are whitelisted that should be whitelisted for customers.
8. Reboot servers that need to be rebooted in the middle of the night (night in the US) that require supervision.
9. Provide coverage for the On-call tech in the US to make sure he addresses after hours tickets that need to be addressed immediately. If you can complete the task without talking to the end user, then work on and complete it.

There will be other tasks and responsibilities as you grow with our company over time.

Qualifications:

Network administration experience and skills
Certifications in IT strongly preferred
Experience working in cyber secutity or similar roles is a plus
Experience using RMM tools, Kaseya Software, and security software is important
Experience working with an MSP is ideal

Compensation:

This role starts around $8/hr USD with raises after 90 days,1 year, and upon the completion of certain certifications.
We honor 13th month pay every year.
This is a contract position so we can reimburse you for health benefits with proof of payment.
