Job Description

SMBC is seeking a highly-skilled Network Admin for the configuration, implementation and maintenance of various technologies managed by the IT department. Includes but not limited to:

• Linux administration (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu…)
• Web Server administration (IIS, Apache, WordPress, Nginx…)with
• Database Management (PostgreSQL, MSSQL/MySQL….)
• Java Scripts (NodeJS)
• Ruby language
• WordPress Multisite version management
• Candidate with server high availability experiences is a plus.
• Install, configure and manage desktops applications (MS Access, Thunderbird…etc)
• Network device administration (Firewall/VPN, Switches, AP…etc)
• Deal with system vulnerabilities and maintain compliance with security policies.
• Builds support documentation as well as document IT procedures
• Work closely with employees to resolve network, software or hardware issues as well as training.
• Perform and ensure backups for desktops, servers and file shares.
• Respond to requests for information from other departments.
• Develop, maintain and update corporate intranet.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Able to write batch file and VBS file for operation purpose.
• Possess a level of determination to successfully complete tasks, projects and career responsibilities.
• Take the initiative to start new tasks or projects or operate out of their area of influence.
• Suggest and implement new ways to make IT environment more efficient.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
• At least 3 years experience in IT
• MS Windows Server management, including AD. (better has MCSA of MS Server or MCSE of Infra)
• MS SQL Server management, including HA.
• IIS management.
• MS Desktop OS management.
• Well skill of desktop applications and troubleshooting. (MS Access, Thunderbird….etc)
• Ability to troubleshoot server and client issues.
• Linux server and Apache administration.
• WordPress administration.
• Able to troubleshoot web application issues. (ASP error, HTML error, javascript…etc).
• Able to write or troubleshoot BAT and VBS files. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively

Technical Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience
• Own computer with minimum specifications to perform the job function
• Fast and stable internet, with at least 25 MBPS (download and upload speed)
• Internet connection back-up (No internet connection is considered an unexcused absence)
• NBI Clearance and Pre-Employment Medical Exam

Also, you must be…
• Fluent in speaking/writing in English.
• Willing to work in Central Standard Time

Work Hours: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM (Central Time), work hours may vary
Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays
Rest Days: Saturday and Sunday
Work Condition: Full Time
Work Location: Remote
