About the Role

As a Network Engineer at Passivae, you’ll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer networks. You’ll be responsible for ensuring optimal network performance and guaranteeing seamless data flow across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage our Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure.
Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and security appliances.
Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and proactively implement solutions.
Perform regular network maintenance tasks, including software updates and security patches.
Document network configurations and procedures for future reference.
Collaborate with the IT team to maintain network security and troubleshoot user connectivity problems.
Stay up-to-date on the latest networking technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a network engineering role.
Proven experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and technologies.
Experience configuring and managing network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
