Job Summary:
As a Network Engineer specializing in MPLS and BGP, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures for our clients. Your expertise in Cisco and MikroTik technologies will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of data, optimized routing, and network stability. This position requires a strong understanding of MPLS and BGP protocols and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues efficiently.

Experience in Fortinet Firewalls are a bonus as security is an essential element to the position.

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and maintain MPLS-based network solutions for clients, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Configure and optimize BGP routing protocols on Cisco and MikroTik devices to achieve efficient data transfer and redundancy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and design appropriate network solutions.
Perform network capacity planning and upgrade existing infrastructure to meet growing demands.
Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks and connectivity issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems related to MPLS, BGP, and other networking technologies.
Implement security measures to safeguard the network against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams and technical specifications.
Assist in the configuration and maintenance of firewall devices and VPN solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in networking.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on MPLS and BGP technologies.
Cisco and MikroTik certifications, such as CCNP, CCIE, MTCNA, or MTCRE, are highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of MPLS architecture, BGP routing protocols, VPLS, and MPLS VPNs.
Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, MikroTik RouterOS, and other network operating systems.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, and network segmentation.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote work environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Standard Terms and Conditions:
This is a full-time, remote position based in the Philippines.
Working hours will follow the company’s standard schedule based on Phillipines local time (GMT+8), with flexibility for occasional schedules for works to be performed outside of normal business hours.
Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and industry standards.
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing their own remote work setup, including a stable internet connection and appropriate workspace.
Employment will be contingent upon successfully passing any background and identification checks or other requirements as necessary.
