Cornerstone Information Technology LLC is looking for 2 NOC team members to round up our pool of talented and highly skilled Engineers.

Ideally the individual we are looking for can provide support and administer internal and external computer systems and networks. The candidate will be self-motivated, have initiative and drive to learn new technologies, be able to trouble-shoot, have follow-through, learn quickly, and be detail oriented as well as organized, and must be reliable.

Job Description:

CIT is looking for experienced and dedicated team members to help build, manage the administration, support of our Managed Services clients and internal systems across multiple environments. The ideal candidate is innovative and has great problem-solving and analytical skills. You must be flexible and adapt well to a wide range of tasks and technologies.
Skills and Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of corporate network infrastructure topology and protocols including firewall configuration, DNS management, network routing and IP connectivity
• Proficient working with Microsoft operating systems including Group Policy
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure cloud-based service (SaaS) deployment and support
• Experience with MS Office application such as Word and Excel
• Excellent written and interpersonal and customer care skills
• Ability to deal with difficult callers and to work calmly and professionally under pressure
• Logical approach to troubleshooting including good analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in multiple areas of technology, including application administration, configuration, and/or data services.
• Understanding and troubleshooting mail flow (M365, on-premises Microsoft Exchange, and Mimecast)
• Good knowledge and experience working in Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, and NetScaler
• Knowledge of and/or experience in VMWare virtualization technologies
• Configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Azure Services such as Azure Active Directory and Intune
• Good knowledge and experience using the nCentral Remote Monitoring & Management tool for capabilities for OS patching and reporting

Optional skills and experience:

• Experience with helpdesk ticket/logging tools such as ConnectWise
• SQL database experience
• Scripting technologies such as PowerShell

ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES (Tasks, Duties and Scope of Responsibilities) :

• To be the first point of contact in dealing with support queries via named contacts at customer sites
• Prioritize, investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues
• Liaise with Senior engineers and or vendors on issues that cannot be readily resolved at first contact
• Ensure that tickets are followed up, kept up to date and properly closed to ensure adherence with SLAs
• Perform Daily Health check on Managed Services clients including generating a report to send to the customer
• Monitoring and maintain Managed Services clients environment
• System patching including Microsoft Windows OS, Cisco devices such as router and switches, application patching such as Exchange and SQL server
• Generate reports for Managed Services work scheduled for the past week
• Setup and execute periodic vulnerability scanning and review the results for presentation to Managed Services clients
