About the Role

As a Network Security Engineer at Passivae, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our company’s critical infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise to design, implement, and maintain robust security protocols. Your proactive approach will be essential in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive network security solutions.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential security risks.
Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security tools.
Monitor network activity for suspicious behavior and investigate security incidents.
Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends.
Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure the overall security of the company’s IT infrastructure.
Document security procedures and configurations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in network security administration.
Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other security technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
A passion for staying up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends.
