Our new beauty brand has 5 beauty products and is looking to launch our ecommerce site quickly. The brand focuses on skincare that uses only plant based ingredients and attracts customers who want to live more naturally and feel passionate about protecting the environment and people’s health. The company is small, and there is tremendous opportunity for long term growth.

General job description:
We need someone who is creative, and has a strong work ethic to get tasks done quickly and efficiently. Our immediate need is to design, build and manage a new shopify site that sells natural skincare products. This site must integrate seamlessly with either Klaviyo or Mailchimp email platforms, and eventually integrate with Amazon. Eventually we want to also build an Amazon store, so having expertise with Amazon is also required.

List of Responsibilities:
Design and build and manage a new Shopify ecommerce site:
Connecting domain and gmail to domain
Selecting the most easy to manage template
Minor template customization
Upload all products, copy, photo
Design product pages with image variations, video, and customized tabs
Connect all necessary Shopify Apps so that the ecommerce shopping experience is easy and we can run daily sales reports.
For email platform, either Mailchimp or Klaviyo
Shopping cart payment gateways
Google pay
Paypal
Stripe
Shipping
Calculating shipping costs
Sales tax tracking

Integrate Shopify with email platform: Must have expertise in either Mailchimp or Klaviyo
Create and build email newsletter template

Return buyers (best customers)
Expertise in creating and building an Amazon Store and connecting it to Shopify (this task is secondary to first building the Shopify site)

PLEASE NOTE: This is not an entry level position. This job will be challenging and we expect you to bring your best.

About you:

You need to be an excellent communicator, fluent in English both written and spoken
You need to ask great questions
You are someone who has drive, where we sometimes have to tell you to slow down rather than having to encourage you to take action
Expert level knowledge and experience of Shopify, either Mailchimp or Klaviyo and Amazon
Expert in generating sales for eCommerce stores
Know not just the official ways of getting things done, but the creative tricks and hacks that you only learn from experience
Intermediate knowledge of Adobe suite to be able to quickly edit images and implement visuals (from Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier video editing) for Shopify, Email platform and Amazon.
