My Landlord Cares is a different type of property company. We put our tenants at the heart of everything we do. Our ethos is ‘to support tenants to settle and stay’. We believe that when you support tenants they look after properties and become more longer-term tenants.
We set up in the pandemic as an ethical property management option for landlords, something which is proudly different from the high street. We are looking for our first team member to join us as part of our growth.
THE ROLE WE ARE HIRING FOR
– Create systems and process flow charts
– Undertake admin tasks
– Social media and website update – content will already be provided but it will need to be vetted for grammatical errors and designed better on Canva- someone with Facebook skills will be desirable
THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS ROLE
The role we are hiring for is essential as you will help our business grow!
You will be part of the initial phase of growth for the company and will be required to think autonomously, we believe that with the right initial guidance you will be set to look after your dedicated tasks. We want someone who is able to offer better solutions and wants to be a valued member of the team.
There is potential to increase hours offered.
WHAT TASKS WILL YOU BE DOING
– Social media
Using Canva to make posts eye catching and check the grammar.
Uploading posts to 3 channels Linked In, Twitter and Facebook.
3 posts will go out per week, we will need you to upload them and engage in comments.
We need a VA that is competent in Facebook usage and setting up ads.
– Website
Creating geo-specific location webpages.
Checking if keywords are relevant.
Tracking website metrics.
Creating credible backlinks.
– Tenants
Setting up ads for tenants across different platforms
Monitoring correspondence and undertake initial screening
Setting up deposit scheme
Creating filing system to record this
Updating utilities folder/ repairs folder accordingly
– Landlords
Setting up regular rental schedules to clients which go out periodically (check out how to set up invoices)
Creating a database which shows when things like gas certificate go out of date
Creating a landlord engagement tracking spreadsheet
– Project management
Setting up a Trello board that can be used for all to track progress
Organize email system and categorize them accordingly and make more user friendly
Organize calendar and set up meeting scheduler system

PAY AND HOURS
– The starting rate for this role will be $4 initially with a view to increase based on performance
– This position is available from the end of September
– This is a long term position
– Provisional Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9.30 to 12.30 UK time
– You will be available for at least: 10 hours per week, 8 hours will be guaranteed weekly
– One days paid leave for every 80 hours worked
– Performance related bonus
