Job Title: Medical Records Co-Ordinator
Job Description: The Medical Records Co-Ordinator will be an employee that oversees the day-to-day operations of Traub Law’s records needs. The two primary roles of the Medical Records Co-Ordinator will be to obtain medical records and summarize them in our case management system. Moreover, the Medical Records Co-Ordinator will act as an assistant to aid in generic, business-oriented tasks that are necessary for the sustainability and growth of their practice.
Training will be provided to educate the Medical Records Co-Ordinator on each of the tasks associated within them. In addition, training documents for visual reference will be at the disposal of the Medical Records Co-Ordinator. The comfort and success of the Medical Records Co-Ordinator is very important to both Talia and Andrew.
Further, the Medical Records Co-Ordinator will be provided with a list of Downtime Projects that should be worked on when they are caught up on their caseload work. Talia and Andrew will periodically add projects to this list and will collaborate with the Medical Records Co-Ordinator on these projects.
It is important to note that Traub Law is an actively growing personal injury law practice. Talia and Andrew are currently scaling their business and taking the necessary steps to increase their case intake to add to their current caseload. The Medical Records Co-Ordinator should be prepared to take on more cases and more responsibilities as the practice grows. This will gradually happen as time passes and trust builds between Talia, Andrew, and the Medical Records Co-Ordinator. For example, although the Medical Records Co-Ordinator will not be responsible for answering firm phone calls or responding back to client questions via text message upon hiring, these responsibilities may eventually be passed to them.
Downtime Project Examples:
– Write articles about various health topics, injury mechanism, etc.
– Research for articles in scientific journals related to injuries, causation, etc.
– Data entry to keep a list of medical providers that work under a Letter of Protection
Job Details:
– This is a full-time position.
– The Medical Records Co-Ordinator must be willing to work at least one hour during daylight hours in the Central Standard Time Zone (i.e. 9-5 p.m. central time).
– Must be willing to use app (Softphone) to make calls to medical facilities or record providers in the US
– There is a 6-week probationary period upon hiring.
– The first week of the probationary period will be a training week.
– This is a Salaried Position:
o Payment will be issued weekly.
o Weekly Pay during Probationary Period = $175/week
o Weekly Pay after Probationary Period = $250/week
o Salary increases will be considered periodically.
– Weekly Hours:
o 40 hours/week
o Monday through Friday
– Traub Law honors most Filipino Holidays as days off from work except All Saints and All Souls Day.
– Vacation days are unrestricted. Time off from work needs to be submitted to and approved by either Talia or Andrew. Two weeks of notice is preferred.
– Sick days are unrestricted. Explanation needs to be provided to either Talia or Andrew.

o 13th Month Pay (pro-rated based on number of months worked)
