Job Overview:
As an Odoo Developer at our electric bike e-commerce brand, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Odoo-based e-commerce and ERP platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, and marketers, to create a seamless and engaging online shopping experience for our customers. Your expertise in Odoo development will be instrumental in driving our growth and success in the electric bike market.

Responsibilities:

Odoo E-commerce Development: Develop and customize the Odoo e-commerce platform to align with our business requirements, ensuring a user-friendly interface and optimal performance.

Frontend Development: Collaborate with our design team to implement responsive and visually appealing front-end snippets, enhancing the overall user experience.

Module Development: Design and build custom Odoo modules to meet specific business needs and integrate third-party applications, plugins, or extensions as required.

Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing: Identify and resolve issues related to the Odoo platform promptly, ensuring smooth functionality and minimal disruptions to our e-commerce operations.

Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of the Odoo website to ensure fast loading times and a seamless checkout process.

Manage product listings: Manage product listings in the Odoo e-commerce to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.

Security and Maintenance: Implement security measures and perform regular maintenance tasks to safeguard the website from potential threats and ensure system stability.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer support, to align website functionalities with overall business goals.

Requirements:

Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as an Odoo front-end and back-end developer, with a track record of successful e-commerce platform development and customization, back-end module development and integration with third-party applications.

Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Odoo development, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with PostgreSQL and Click to view is a plus.

E-commerce Knowledge: Familiarity with e-commerce best practices, including shopping cart functionality, payment gateways, shipping options, and checkout processes.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently, employing a systematic and analytical approach.

Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
