Job Description

Blue Tree Digital helps SaaS companies grow organic traffic through a proven formula of digital PR. We’re looking for someone to join our team to help effectively manage the Blue Tree blog content. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SEO strategies, with a particular focus on on-page optimization and editing. Key Responsibilities
1. **On-Page Optimization:**
– Conduct comprehensive on-page SEO audits to identify and rectify any issues that could impact website performance.
– Implement on-page changes including meta tags, headings, keyword density, internal linking, and site speed optimization to improve the overall SEO health of our client’s websites.
– Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and various other SEO platforms to monitor and analyze site performance and make necessary on-page optimizations.

2. **Content Management:** MOST IMPORTANT
– Collaborate with the content team to ensure that all website content is SEO-friendly and optimized for the targeted keywords.
– Have a strong understanding of how to edit and optimize a page for readability and user experience. This should include how to use images effectively and also make edits where necessary.
– Edit and optimize existing content as well as provide SEO recommendations for new content creation.
– 80% of this job to start would be dedicated to on site SEO/content. There will be extensive testing for anyone who applies here, so if you are not comfortable with this please do not apply.

3. **Technical SEO:**
– Work closely with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all client websites.
??Monitor and resolve any technical SEO issues including 404 errors, redirect issues, canonical tags, and indexing.

4. **Keyword Research and Analysis:**
– Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value keywords and provide recommendations for on-page optimization.
– Monitor keyword rankings and optimize content accordingly to improve organic search rankings.

5. **Reporting and Analysis:**
– Prepare and present SEO performance reports to management, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
– Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and industry best practices, and communicate these trends to the team.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field.
– 3-5 years of proven experience in SEO, particularly in on-page optimization.
– Familiarity with various SEO tools including, but not limited to, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
– Extremely strong editing ability
– Exceptional analytical and reporting skills.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
