Summary of Primary Functions:
This position serves as a coordinating and production role in category content. Assisting the UX design Manager in researching and implementing best practices in user experience, product pages, category pages, onsite product placement, product data entry and data quality.
The Category Content Coordinator helps Jenson USA meet sales and growth goals through the production of high-quality product page content, category page content, strategic onsite product placement and data quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Produce unique product copy that meets departmental guidelines and company branding voice and standards.
• Create, and update product page style guides and product page templates. Maintain these and other reference material to aid in the consistency of product page look, feel and content production.
• Designs, produces, and maintains category top content utilizing customer behavior data to implement a quality user experience. Considers category and subcategory menu structure, product filters and attributes as well as informational content.
• Uses keyword data and organic search optimization tools to create SEO rich site content.
• Research industry and eComm best practices and trends as it relates to onsite product and category content. Evaluate and presents for consideration in implementation.
• Use customer listing tools such as customer product reviews, customer Q&A, Incorrect Product Information submissions to repair, enhance, and maintain onsite content.
• Reviews and edits site content for accuracy, clarity, and enhancement opportunities.
• Communicates with Category Merchant team members to align content and onsite product placement with expected product sales performance and goals.
• Assists the UX Design Manager and Marketing department as needed with additional projects and site experience implementations.
• Demonstrates proficiency in the use of all content creation software and site platform interfaces.
Qualifications
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong creative and technical writing abilities with an excellent grasp on the English language and use of grammar.
• A cycling enthusiast with technical knowledge and riding experience is a must.
• Knowledge of or ability learn and use basic HTML code.
• Proficient with MS Office Applications
