Ascend Media is a fast growing digital media start-up company that primarily generates leads for some of the top home service and insurance brands in North America. We’re looking for a highly motivated and self-starting individual to join our team as a media buyer.
JOB OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a motivated, fast learner who can successfully fit into the role of a media buyer. Your job would be to manage and scale advertising campaigns across multiple ad platforms. You’ll also be required to be creative in testing new strategies to get the most performance out of the ad platform.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Create, maintain, and grow large scale advertising campaigns across multiple ad accounts.
– Analyze your media buys and associated metrics daily to ensure profitability.
– Proactively optimize your campaigns by adjusting the advertisements (creatives) and all other levers at your disposal, such as rates, placements, dayparting, geo-targeting, etc., to ensure CPA goals.
– Set-up and monitor advertising campaigns using ad tags or site-served creatives
YOUR SKILLS:
– You have at least two years of proven experience in buying online media at scale. If you don’t have this, please do not apply;
– You’re an expert at split-testing ads;
– You’re an expert at building high performing ads;
– You’re analytical and use critical thinking skills while also being very risk/reward-driven
– You’re an expert at Facebook Ads, Google Ads, YouTube Ads, TikTok Ads, or Native Ads (Outbrain/Taboola)
– You’re a creative person and willing to think outside the box to test new strategies.
– You’re a fast learner and quickly able to pick up new concepts and ideas.
