Job Description

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our small team as an Online Store General Manager. This role suits someone passionate about e-commerce, skilled in customer support, effective in leadership, and driven to lead operations in a fast-paced setting. It’s a full-time position.

There will be an initial 2-month trial period.

Main duties include:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our online store and vendor relationships
• Handle customer communication, issue resolution, and order management
• Lead a small team, monitor performance, and provide support and mentorship
• Solve problems, refine processes, and collaborate with other teams
• Assist in developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies to drive traffic and sales
• Maintain the e-commerce platform for optimal user experience and functionality

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, E-commerce, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least 2+ years of experience in E-commerce operations, with a preference for a managerial role
• Proficiency in Shopify platform and relevant software (e.g. Google Workspace, ClickUp, Airtable)
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide teams effectively
• Strong organizational, multitasking skills, and problem-solving abilities 
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Additional Marketing and HR experience is a plus but not strictly required

Communication and meetings will be primarily conducted through voice chat (Google Meet) and Slack.

• Your work schedule will consist of 40 hours per week
