About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, energetic and proactive E-Commerce Trading Manager who will be responsible for driving revenue & profitability across Popcorn Shed’s key online channels including Shopify UK & US, Amazon UK, EU & US, and other dropshipping websites such as NOTHS, Etsy and Ebay. You will be responsible for running all marketing content across Popcorn Shed’s online trading channels, and optimising online & offline PR for the brand. Within this role, you will be responsible for all e-commerce e-mail marketing and maintaining a strong digital presence for the brand. This is a senior role, and you will report directly to the Commercial Director.

You must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar e-Commerce role selling physical products online.

Shopify
You will be responsible for all product listings, images, videos and functionality of the company website .

You will be responsible for maximising revenue and profit through Popcorn Shed’s own website, . Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will set & periodically review product, bundle and shipping pricing, to drive profitability and deliver customer value. You will be expected to run sales/promotions periodically, in order to move slow selling or excess stock out of peak season. Acting as the main point of contact at Popcorn Shed, you will be expected to set up & manage partnerships with third parties in order to drive sales, brand awareness and profitability. You will be expected to create & plan visual website content, review product collections, navigation menus and home page banners periodically, in line with key gifting and sales seasons throughout the year.

You will be responsible for all content of the website including web pages, blogs, recipes, delivery & terms of service. You will manage all features of the website including the Bundle Builder, and will be expected to suggest new features & applications from time to time. You will be responsible for managing product reviews and customer surveys/feedback. Working with Popcorn Shed’s external web development team, you will be the main point of contact to de-bug technical issues, and introduce new website features.

Working in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Google Merchant Centre, you will review ROI regularly and review advertising spend based on sales data and trends. You will be expected to make commercial judgements about marketing costs and where budgets should best be spent. You will be expected to draw commercial conclusions from the data presented. You will be required to review other online marketing opportunities and report back to your line manager for review.

You will have a firm understanding of the costs in running and promoting the website, including web development, e-mail marketing, apps and advertising costs. You will review the cost base regularly, in order to drive profitability throughout the year.

You will be responsible for e-mail marketing to the brand’s B2C customer base, including curating, copywriting, proofreading and distributing e-mail newsletters using Klaviyo, aiming to drive a high returning customer rate and repeat orders. You will also be responsible for optimising e-mail marketing flows.

You will identify opportunities with potential digital partners such as cashback websites, discount/voucher code websites and other affiliates in order to drive traffic and sales conversions to . You will be expected to communicate and negotiate with existing and new partners in order to drive traffic and sales conversions at .

TikTok Shop
You will be responsible for all product listings & images on TikTok Shop, and be responsible for the Aftership feed to Shopify.

Amazon
You will be responsible for all product listings and categorisations, including text, images, video and A+ content on , all Amazon EU marketplaces, and . You will be responsible for managing the store pages across all Amazon channels and regularly updating them.

You will be responsible for maximising sales and profitability on Amazon through the Amazon Vendor and Amazon Seller Platforms. Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for regularly reviewing pricing and monitoring margins, making occasional range suggestions based on cost prices and sales data. You will have day to day responsibility for monitoring financial performance of the Amazon Seller Central channel using the Sellerboard application.

You will be responsible for running promotions including discounts, lightning deals, 7-day deals and voucher schemes. You will be responsible for enrolling selected new products for Amazon Vine. Working to a target ROAS, you will run advertising campaigns on select products using Amazon Advertising, aiming to maximise seasonal sales and sell through short dated or excess stock, whilst maintaining a target channel margin.

You will be responsible for managing stock levels in Amazon Seller FBA, ensuring that the business has good stock cover throughout the year and particularly in Q4. This will include preparing FBA shipments & stock transfers from the third party warehouse to Amazon FBA, and dealing with FBA overstocks in a commercially appropriate way.

Dropship Websites
You will be responsible for product listings on a range of dropship websites including Notonthehighstreet, Fodabox, Etsy, Ebay, Debenhams and Range+, including product images, text and videos. You will aim to develop relationships with the account managers at the various platforms to maximise Popcorn Shed products’ visibility across all dropship platforms.

Online Business Profiles
You will be responsible for maintaining the brand’s online business profiles such as Google My Business and .

PR
You will be responsible for writing and sending press releases, samples and images to journalists. You will be responsible for responding to relevant journalists request via Response Source. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating our journalist database via our CRM tool Freshsales.
