The Ontraport Manager is a key leadership position on our marketing team. You will work with the CEO to oversee our marketing strategy, including creating project plans and timelines, analyzing data / KPIs to optimize our marketing efforts, provide oversight and accountability to the team to ensure we build offers and launch well.
The ideal candidate for this role possesses excellent project management and organizational skills, is technically proficient, has a high EQ, and has a self-motivated and self-starter personality. Everyone on our team prides themselves on “thinking ahead of the CEO” and offering solutions to problems when they arise. The team and CEO are very collaborative and believe sharing ideas is the best way to accomplish the company’s goals.
THIS POSITION, YOU WILL:
• Work with copywriters, marketers, media buyers, and product experts to ensure new marketing campaigns are launched and meet our quality standards.
• Retain a detailed overview of all offers and projects. Be able to step in as required and assist move projects and tasks forward to completion.
• Coordinate funnel mapping with input from key stakeholders to plan launches and brand / community-building efforts, including scoping and monitoring workflows
• Manage the customer journey, including creating the best customer experience, increasing referrals and retention, maximizing lifetime value, etc.
• Execute our content strategy, including email marketing + newsletters, weekly podcast, and development of key assets like books or quizzes to generate leads
• Support the CEO in tracking KPIs across all marketing channels to identify areas of opportunity, weakness, etc. You will be responsible for managing data and reporting across a wide variety of marketing channels for the company, along with providing technical support where needed.
• Manage email marketing automations and broadcast sends (setting up and tracking email in Ontraport and related metrics)
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
• Have a strong background and growing knowledge of Direct Response Marketing to manage launches and company growth
• Be well-versed in digital marketing tools + best practices, including SEO / SEM, email marketing, WordPress, Ontraport, Google Analytics, Zapier, etc.
• VERY strong project management skills (crucial), including creating project scope and timelines, managing progress, and ensuring projects are completed on time; you’re the type of person who makes a mistake once and implements systems so that the same mistake is never repeated.
• Excellent people skills, with an ability to work productively with many types of people and to build great rapport with direct reports; comfortable being assertive with others to meet (or exceed) deadlines
• Is a self-starter who thrives in a team environment, and will proactively identify productivity issues and meet challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset to create results; with courage to bring productivity or performance challenges to leadership for support, as needed
• Must be able to work independently and excel in a deadline-driven environment that involves multiple, simultaneous projects and sometimes quick turnarounds
• Be comfortable with onboarding and training new team members, monitoring their performance for excellence, managing weekly 1:1s with team members and managing reviews and corrective action / performance planning, as needed

• Exhibits strong professionalism – demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy when dealing with the CEO, other leaders and members of the team
• Have experience creating SOPs for various digital marketing tasks to support the team with established workflows; Enjoys sharing ideas to improve processes within the company when they see gaps that can be improved.
• Has a high attention to detail: grammatical errors and typos never get past you.
• Analytical / reporting skills with the ability to notice when things “don’t feel right” and require deeper analysis; Strong skills in analyzing information, formulating logical and objective conclusions and making effective recommendations.
• Has strong EQ and can intuit next steps without needing a ton of direction- we like to call this “thinking ahead of the CEO.”
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Plan and oversee the implementation of marketing strategy for new & existing products / campaigns / launches / promotions
• Develop, manage and execute a marketing / launch calendar to establish timelines and responsibilities across the team
• Systematizing currently-disconnected aspects of marketing and creating a cohesive process
• Optimize all marketing campaigns for performance, using KPIs and process improvement
• Create and implement processes /systems to help the marketing team operate more efficiently.
• Tracking monthly KPIs for website, email marketing, and social performance
• Setting up broadcast emails, automations and newsletters in Ontraport
• Setting up pages and web page view
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Must have 5+ years of experience in the Direct Marketing world or high ticket sales, with a proven track record of getting results
• Advanced Ontraport user with at least 2 years experience in the platform
• Experience with other similar tools like Active Campaign and Infusionsoft
• Experience in WordPress, Clickfunnels, Zapier, Ontraport; HTML experience a huge plus
• Has training or familiarity in media buying and Facebook / Google Ads, with an understanding of the metrics to monitor to ensure success a huge plus
• Understand programming automation logic (if / then)
• Certification in Google Analytics is a huge plus
• Demonstrate a solid typing WPM (ideally 55 wpm+)
• Excellent English skills, and able to communicate well both verbally and in writing is required
• Experience with remote team tools like Time Doctor, Slack, Asana, Google Suite, LastPass, and Zoom

• Computer – at least i5 or equivalent with 8gb RAM
• Internet Speed – At least 50 MBPS Download speed
