Job Overview:
CR Fence & Rail is currently looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our team. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of projects from inception to completion. You will manage project schedules, coordinate with sales staff, schedule crews and deliveries, and oversee material procurement and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage Project Flow and Scheduling:
– Coordinate the entire fencing project lifecycle, from initial client contact (estimates, quotes) through project completion and final sign-off.
– Partner with the inventory management team to ensure accurate inventory control systems, including stock levels, usage tracking, and reorder points, to optimize inventory management and minimize costs.
– Collaborate with sales and design teams to ensure smooth project handoff and address any material or specification changes during the process.
– Monitor project timelines and proactively identify potential roadblocks or delays, implementing solutions to keep projects on schedule.

2. Ensure Material Procurement and Inventory Control:
– Maintain sufficient stock of fencing materials (poles, rolls, gates, etc.) to meet project needs.
– Liaise with the inventory team to place timely orders and track deliveries.
– Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are stored safely and securely.

3. Facilitate Customer Communication and Satisfaction:
– Serve as the primary liaison between clients and installation teams.
– Coordinate with the installers once confirmation is received that the site is ready for the job. This will include but is not limited – to site prep coordination, city/county permitting, clearance from utility companies for digging when applicable, etc.
– Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring timely resolution.
– Coordinate thorough post-installation inspections to ensure customer satisfaction with the completed fence.

Requirements:

Role Requirements:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in REMOTE project coordination, operations management, or related field.

Role Preferential:
– Previous experience in operations relating to construction or fencing industry is preferred.

Role Exclusion:
– Sales (will be handled by sales person) << you will provide all the needed information and answer any questions to close on sale - Customer service (will be handled by CS) << you will need to take their feedback and address/coordinate with an installer to resolve issues Education: - Bachelor's or equivalent Experience: - 6-10 years of relevant experience Management: - 1-3 years experience (Preferred) Scope of Control: - Has control over a team's work Impact: - Jobs at this level have a direct impact on the performance of a team or department. Task Complexity: - Tasks are more complex and require some problem-solving skills. - There is some ambiguity or uncertainty involved in completing the tasks. - The tasks require more specialized skills and knowledge. - The tasks can be completed in a reasonable amount of time. Hardware Required: - This level of hardware is sufficient for basic tasks such as web browsing, email, and word processing. - The hardware requirements for this level are relatively low, and a basic computer or laptop will be sufficient.
