Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager, preferably but not necessarily with a background in healthcare, to lead the setup and management of our new offshore office in Manila. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire office setup from scratch, including legal compliance, infrastructure development, and team recruitment. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our operations align with organizational goals and meet the highest standards of efficiency and effectiveness in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a detailed plan for setting up the offshore office, including location scouting, office design, and technological infrastructure tailored for healthcare operations.
Navigate local legal and business regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of business operations, with specific attention to healthcare industry standards.
Lead the recruitment and training of a new team, focusing on roles critical to healthcare operations such as payroll specialists, executive assistants, marketing experts, accountants, and call center operators.
Establish policies and procedures that align with the company’s standards, local regulations, and best practices in healthcare administration.
Manage day-to-day operations of the offshore office and serve as the primary point of contact between the Manila office and Australian headquarters, ensuring seamless integration and support of healthcare services.
Leverage healthcare industry experience to optimize processes and ensure the office supports clinical and operational standards effectively.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in managing office setups, preferably in an offshore or international context, with a strong background in healthcare.
Strong understanding of Philippine business laws, regulatory requirements, and healthcare industry standards.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Fluent in English, with proficiency in Filipino as an advantage.
