Position Overview The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our daily operations while driving process improvement initiatives within the organization. This position requires strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a strategic mindset. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various operational processes, managing staff, optimizing productivity, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing effective strategies to enhance operational performance in the promotional products industry.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize workflow efficiency.
* Drive process improvement initiatives across all operational areas.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing) to align operational strategies with company goals.
* Manage day-to-day operations including order processing, quality control.
* Oversee supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
* Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
* Establish performance metrics/KPIs for the operations team linked to process efficiency improvements.
* Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a team of operation staff members.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members to ensure productivity targets are met.
* Implement systems/tools that improve efficiency in operations (e.g., order management software).
* Identify potential risks in operations and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant field (Master’s degree preferred).
* Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role within the promotional products industry (minimum 5 years).
* Experience in developing and improving business procedures.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in using software/tools for data analysis and reporting.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
