OPERATIONS MANAGER

Nanas Design Pte. Ltd., a leading interior design firm in Singapore, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. As an operations manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various aspects of interior design projects, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion. Your role will involve working closely with clients, overseeing construction sites, managing accounts, and monitoring project costs.

Responsibilities:

Manage and review carpentry drawings to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with design specifications and project requirements.
Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project objectives, budget constraints, and timelines.
Lead construction site project management activities, including regular site visits, coordination with contractors and suppliers, and addressing any on-site issues or challenges.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and design teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather information, measure spaces, and identify potential design opportunities or limitations.
Develop and present innovative and aesthetically pleasing interior design concepts, mood boards, material selections, and color schemes to clients.
Prepare detailed project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals and timely delivery of projects.
Monitor and manage project costs, tracking expenses, reviewing invoices, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising design quality.
Foster strong client relationships by maintaining regular communication, addressing client concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in interior design, incorporating them into design concepts and project execution.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an Interior Designer, with a focus on high-end residential or commercial projects.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, from concept development to final installation.
Extensive knowledge of interior design principles, materials, finishes, and furnishings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering software, and other relevant design tools.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
Detail-oriented mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and design quality.
Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in Singapore.
