POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing Operations team members within the Strategic Business Unit. They will operate as WE Leaders in order to develop their team. The Operations Manager will possess an advanced level of financial and business acumen, while also leveraging their knowledge of the other SBU functions in order to provide remarkable support for all clients.

This individual will collaborate with four other managers within the SBU in order to ensure that all clients are experiencing scalable growth. They will handle all escalated issues, provide support for any SBU Operations vacancies, and work with Leadership in order to scale the Strategic Business Unit.

This position is 100% remote.

OBJECTIVES
• Preserve annual client retention rate based on annual metrics determined
• Hit stated revenue increases YOY for SBU client book of business
• Maintain the targeted EBITDA increase YOY for SBU client book of the business overall (target subject to being variable based on industry and breakpoints)
• Conduct WE Leadership responsibilities including managing time off, conducting bi-weekly 1:1s, documenting disciplinary issues, managing incentive compensation payout, and conducting performance reviews
• Lead weekly/monthly meetings with Operations SBU team members to provide
space for collaboration, peer review, and training
• Review and approve Operations processes (VCEPS) and department projects to align with organizational priorities and delegate across department Advisors to best suit individual competencies and expertise
• Review client call recordings and provide constructive feedback
• Support SBU teams through Operations Advisor transitions (OA); back-fill as OA support if warranted
• Serve as the next point of escalation beyond the Advisors for any client concerns that relate to their experience in the SBU
• Address any questions and provide support as a Subject Matter Expert for SBU Operations team members who are facing roadblocks with a client’s growth strategy
• Review client operational strategies to determine effectiveness and alignment with industry best practices, client business KPIs, and the Cardone Ventures way
• Collaborate with Executives to make high-level decisions regarding SBU Operations
• Review proposed client quarterly and annual plan strategies to ensure they align cross-functionally and address top business priorities

COMPETENCIES
• Proven success in scaling businesses at various breakpoints through the development of an effective Operational strategy
• Knowledge of HR, Finance, Marketing, and Professional Development to understand how the various functions impact one another and to provide sound advice in all of these areas
• Understanding of SBU contracts in order to leverage conversations when converting or retaining clients
• Knowledge of the inner workings of the SBU in order to identify areas for opportunity and quickly solve escalated client problems
• Intermediate to advanced financial acumen
• Ability to determine which clients will need more attention by prioritizing high and low-performing businesses
• Strong knowledge of Emergency Business Response clients to guide Operations SBU team members through best practices

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• MBA Preferred
• At least 9 years of work experience in Operations, preferably in a consulting capacity

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
