Job Role: We’re seeking an experienced, highly motivated Operations Manager to join our team.

Your main role is to take the day-to-day running of the company away from the founder.

Initially, this will involve doing a lot of the tasks yourself, and as time progresses we’ll build a team around you that you can delegate to, and build the team further.

We work in a fast-paced environment. If you work at a slow, methodical pace, this won’t be the ideal job for you and you shouldn’t apply.

Areas you will be involved in:

* Confirming client requirements and turning those into estimates and then into internal jobs for the team to work on, i.e. design, development, support, content, tasks and projects.

* Working with the internal team and clients to deliver great service and results. Communicating with the team and/or clients via Slack, , email, video and more.

* Understanding existing and improving our SOPs and anything else that will make the job of our team easier, better, faster, more consistent, and ultimately provide great service to our clients.

* You’ll be handling administrative work, research, customer service, scheduling, report writing, creating SOPs, ensuring processes are followed, and continuously looking for ways to assist with tasks proactively.

Your role is crucial in helping our company and clients achieve their goals.

We require someone who can manage tasks, and projects, and coordinate well with the team. You will be able to complete intermediate WordPress tasks like adding/updating posts, pages, themes etc. using Elementor page builder for building new pages and editing existing ones, adding SEO information, adding and removing plugins, backing up and restoring sites and understanding and implementing SEO. These skills are very important to the role.

You will need to have some experience working in a WordPress company or website development agency at the very least.

Requirements:

* Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level or above)

* Proficiency in WordPress, Slack, , Google Docs, and Sheets, with the ability to edit and add content (text, images, blog posts) on WordPress websites

* Familiarity with AI tools like Chat GPT. You will be able to show your competency in writing quality prompts to ensure you get good responses.

* Fast, accurate, and efficient work ethic

* Excellent communication skills with a knack for asking the right questions and clarifying tasks and understanding what people mean without laborious explanations

* Capable of recording videos to explain things to clients and team

* Able to handle sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality

* Previous experience in a WordPress support/dev agency.

Responsibilities:

* Manage the day-to-day input from clients and the output of the team for clients

* General administrative support

* Conduct research, as needed

* Deliver excellent customer service to our clients

* Schedule meetings and manage calendars

* Write detailed reports and create SOPs

* Ensure that all company processes are followed and improve or create new ones

* Proactively identify tasks and take the initiative to accomplish them

In your cover letter, please include your answers to ALL of the questions below (on a scale of 1 to 5 — with 5, being the highest–, answer each question, and rate yourself, as needed):

7. Do you thrive in a high-speed work setting, or do you favor a more deliberate and methodical pace? Expound.

8. Can you share instances where you have entered a role and made an immediate impact?

9. What are your familial commitments?

10. Do you have a designated workspace that enables uninterrupted work? Please provide a brief overview.

11. Include a link to a Loom video up to 3 minutes long introducing of yourself, and explain how your skills, competencies, knowledge and experiences align with our current requirements.

Time Commitment: This is a full-time position (around 7 working hours per day) in the CET timezone.

Please ensure you mention the word “IMROI” as the first word in your application so we know you have read the full job post. Failure to do this will mean that your application is rejected.

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and become a shining example of organisation and ability.
