REPORTS TO: President ROLES:
Key part of TODDs management team and oversees high-level HR duties such as interviewing talents, and setting hiring procedures; evaluating performance for regularization, promotion and renewal as part of the evaluation and selection panel team together with the Curriculum and Training Department.
Responsible for analyzing and improving processes within TODDs and work to improve quality, productivity and efficiency.
The task involves creation of road map on operations including but not limited to CSR Programs in collaboration with other departments and partner companies.
Ensures and maintains positive and high-level professional relationships between client companies, suppliers and TODDs.
The position requires full knowledge and mastery of TODDs manual and employee handbook.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implements consistently the standards, and procedures indicated in the TODDs employee’s handbook
Conducts yearly orientation and monthly refresher of company’s rules and regulations among employees to maintain standards and quality performance.
Ensures that client company rules and regulations as well as that of TODDs are aligned, clearly communicated and consistently implemented.
Problem solves, in cooperation with the President, arising issues and concerns involving all employees, partner clients and vendors, maintenance of daycare facilities, etc.
Maintains a professional relationship among all employees and comes up with ways to strengthen employees’ motivation (example: performance bonuses, team building, birthday greetings, etc.).
Works with the Department of Curriculum and Training for needs assessment of employee’s professional development
Oversees the start-up of new sites which includes purchasing of toys, uniforms, furniture, etc.
Oversees and supervises the following procedures and documentation for TODDs employees:
Hiring
Evaluation
Regularization
Promotion and transition
Resignation
Maintains 201 files of employees hired by TODDs and should turn over to the TODDs head office within 1 week after hiring.
Releases memos, notifications and letters for regularization, and promotion and transition of employees in coordination with the Operations Administrator.
Handles and resolves employee concerns on time and without delay.
Approves leaves, and absences and implements sanctions after due process is done in accordance to the employee’s handbook.
Conducts site visitations at least twice a month for each site to check daycare facilities, conduct check-in meetings with teachers, etc.
Promotes teamwork and collaboration among team members from different sites.
Checks the schedules of employees to ensure fairness and to make sure that all shifts for all sites are covered in coordination with the Operations Administrator
Review attendance of employees and DTR reviewed and submitted by the Operations Administrator to ensure proper computation of salaries under the partner agency on time as instructed by the President.
Submits yearly departmental proposals which includes but not limited to plans, direction, budget, etc. to be approved by the President.
Attends required meetings
Ensures that the President is properly notified and in the loop on all of his/her activities and schedules.
Completes other tasks assigned by the President.
Minimum qualifications
Is a graduate of management, education, or any related course
Has managerial experience of at least 3 years in a related field
Has effective communication skills both in written and verbal forms
Is knowledgeable in presentation tools like Google Slides, Canva, etc.
