As we continue to expand, we are seeking an Operations Manager to lead our virtual assistant team and contribute to the success of our growing company.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
– Lead and manage the virtual assistant team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
– Coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow within the virtual assistant department.
2. Strategic Planning:
– Collaborate with the Founder/Owner to develop and execute strategies for virtual assistant operations.
– Contribute to the overall business strategy and operational efficiency.
3. Task Management:
– Assign tasks to virtual assistants based on business needs and priorities.
– Monitor task completion, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
4. Communication and Coordination:
– Serve as a liaison between virtual assistants and other departments, facilitating seamless communication.
– Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
5. Performance Monitoring:
– Track and evaluate the performance of virtual assistants, providing feedback and support for professional development.
– Implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
6. Training and Development:
– Design and implement training programs for virtual assistants to enhance skills and capabilities.
– Stay informed about industry best practices and incorporate them into training initiatives.
7. Operational Efficiency:
– Identify opportunities for process improvement within the virtual assistant department.
– Streamline workflows and implement tools or technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
8. Reporting:
– Prepare and present regular reports on virtual assistant operations, highlighting key performance indicators and accomplishments.
– Provide updates to the Founder/Owner on departmental activities.
Direct Reports:
– Customer Support Virtual Assistant
– Administrative Virtual Assistant
– Social Media Virtual Assistant
– Other Virtual Assistants based on specific roles and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
– Proven experience in team leadership and operations management.
– Strong organizational and project management skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Familiarity with virtual assistant tools and technologies.
– Ability to adapt to a dynamic startup environment.
Please note that this position will be responsible for the duties of the direct reports and will hire and release responsibilities as the business expands.
