ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an ecommerce-focused Operations Manager/Chief of Staff with exceptional operations and admin experience, organizational skills, attention to detail, and Shopify expertise. You’ll be responsible for minimizing operational load on your client, helping manage and coordinate various projects, and managing relationships with third-parties/partners. To succeed in this role, you *must* have deep experience with assisting in the operations of an e-commerce/DTC/CPG brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Act as the main point of contact for various projects, including corresponding with third-parties, coordinating and prioritizing meetings, and organizing events from start to finish
– Lead, manage, and oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources using tools like Asana, Trello, , and ClickUp
– Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and other partners
– Manage multiple calendars and organize email inboxes on behalf of client
– Create knowledge bases, SOPs, and other documents based on business needs
– Handle basic Shopify tasks (such as checking or modifying orders, processing refunds, monitoring analytics, etc.)
– Actively listen to client feedback and gather insights to constantly identify opportunities for business improvement
– Ensure that all deadlines are met and all work is produced in a timely manner
– Perform ad hoc administrative, business operations, and special project tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
– MUST-HAVE: 3+ years in a operational/admin role for an e-commerce/DTC/CPG/Shopify brand
– Professional fluency in English with top-tier written, reading, and speaking skills
– Outstanding project management, organizational and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
– Permanent access to a computer with reliable and high-speed Internet connection
– Ability to work in any US time zone, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
– Previous experience working the overnight/graveyard shift
– Nice-to-have: experience with Gmail, Slack, and other e-commerce tools/platforms like Faire
