Beyond Landscaping Ltd is a leader in providing exceptional garden maintenance, landscaping design and installation, and snow removal services in Vancouver, BC, Canada. With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager (Integrator) to join our team and drive operational excellence across all aspects of our business.

Position Overview:
This position will ensure the seamless execution of our business strategies and day-to-day operations. The role will involve working closely with the CEO and department heads to foster a culture of efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement. Expertise in operations management, project management, and strategic leadership will be crucial in driving our company’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:
– Cultivate manager relationships to guide operational decisions and establish realistic goals. Lead both managers and employees to maximize performance and commitment, fostering a culture of integrity and trust for a productive and inclusive workplace.
– Develop, implement, and optimize core workflow processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
– Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
– Manage and lead a team ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
– Help establish and integrate the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) across all major business functions to streamline operations.
– Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management to build and sustain a high-performing team, supported by robust training programs and SOPs.

2. Strategic Planning and Execution:
– Collaborate with the CEO to understand and prioritize business actions that drive optimal outcomes.
– Facilitate the development of strategic business goals and ensure their successful implementation.
– Conduct regular audits and improvements of operational processes, revenue targets, and expense controls.
– Develop and execute risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues in production and supply chain.
– Along with the CFO, works to plan, prepare, control, monitor, and forecast the company’s operating budget.

3. Project and Workflow Management:
– Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths, delegating tasks and responsibilities appropriately.
– Ensure all implementation items are tracked and up to date, with progress monitored and reported regularly.
– Oversee the successful integration of new software and tools, ensuring they align with business objectives.
– Optimize processes for lead generation, sales, client onboarding/offboarding, project management, QA, marketing, HR/recruitment, and finance.

4. Data and KPI Management:
– Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and data analytics, leveraging business management software and Lean Manufacturing principles.
– Conduct regular reporting on departmental KPIs and business performance metrics to measure progress, refine operational strategies, and enhance overall business efficiency.

5. Meeting and Communication Management:
– Organize and lead weekly meetings with department heads to review progress, address issues, and align priorities.
– Foster open communication and collaboration across departments to achieve business objectives.
– Ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged in the company’s strategic direction and operational goals.

6. Client and Project Support:
– Optimize client support processes using AI and other innovative technologies.
– Develop and optimize lead generation, sales, client onboarding/offboarding, and project management processes.
– Collaborate closely with key personnel to provide high-quality strategic leadership and implement plans and policies.

7. Process Improvement:
– Conduct regular audits of existing processes, recommend improvements, and develop/ implement new processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
– Participate in investigating and implementing new products, services, and system technologies to stay at the forefront of the landscaping industry.

8. Financial Oversight:
– Monitor and manage budgets across departments, conducting financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.

Qualifications:
– 5+ years of Operations Management/Integrator and workflow automation experience.
– Expert with software implementation and management, ensuring alignment with business goals.
– Proven experience in operations management, project management, and strategic leadership.
– Extensive experience in high-growth environments, having been with a company long enough to contribute to its expansion and evolution significantly. This role demands a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of managing the complexities and changes that accompany rapid growth.
– Strong understanding of business processes, workflow optimization, and efficiency improvements.
– Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
– Proficiency in data analysis and KPI management to drive informed decision-making.
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

Compensation and Hours:
– Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience.
– Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
– Hours: Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, with occasional weekends or evenings as needed to meet business demands. We are flexible on the scheduling for this position as long as there is adequate overlap between time zones to ensure seamless collaboration.
