Job Description

We’re currently looking to hire an Operations Specialist for an on-demand hospitality staffing startup. In this role you’ll need to be able to do it all and multitask + think ahead like a pro. You’ll be owning day-to-day staffing needs on a shift-by-shift basis while delivering top-notch service and support to both the workers filling the shifts and the clients who need the shifts filled. You’ll collaborate closely with the core operations team to ensure a seamless staffing marketplace experience and will own the success of the business on a daily basis. Ready to make an impact? Responsibilities:
– Filling multiple shifts in real-time so they’re filled on an hourly basis each day by requesting for more workers, working with the clients, and answering last minute support questions.
– Supporting workers and addressing their needs so that they can fill the shifts they’ve been assigned.
– Collaborating with other internal operations team members for process improvement.
– Managing large worker cohorts with bulk-communication tools.
– Analyzing and enhancing workflows as you learn to fully take on the role.
– Processing worker payments and managing certifications/documents.
– Ensuring excellent customer experience through effective communication.
– Being enthusiastic and advocating for marketplace workers and hospitality.

Requirements:
– 3+ years in BPO Customer Support/Onboarding experience with US sales exposure
– 1 year WFH experience
– Team Lead or Subject Matter Expert experience preferred.
– Comfort with asking lots of questions as a way to learn and understand the role
– Ability to be trained quickly and to productively receive feedback on how to improve along the way.
– Strong writing, communication, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
– Attention to detail and interest/experience in HR, staffing, hospitality, or marketplaces.
– Proven operations experience in a role where you’ve consistently taken on more responsibility.
– Proficiency in English, multitasking, and using internal tools/CRMs.
– Experience with automation tools is a huge plus (Zapier, Airtable, Make, etc.).
– Available on weekends (this business is the busiest on the weekends).
