Job Description

We are a growing waste management company based in Los Angeles, and we are looking to hire an operations agent on a full-time basis to communicate with our vendors.

About us:
Our primary service is providing dumpster rentals to customers across the United States. We are a small team, but our business and customer base is growing quickly. We also provide portable toilet rentals, storage container rentals, and temporary fence rentals.

We value teamwork, providing exceptional service to our customers, while being fair to our vendors and customers.

About the Position:
The operations agent will communicate with our vendors to place orders, schedule pickups, and manage/negotiate any issues that arise. You will receive orders and customer requests from the customer service team which you will then pass on to our vendors. You will not have any direct contact with our customers. This position is completely remote, all you need is a working computer and reliable internet connection.

Work Schedule:
The work schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm PST, with a 1-hour lunch, and two 15-minute breaks each day. Please do not apply if this work schedule does not work for you.

Duties & Responsibilities:
– Accurately and thoroughly submit customer orders and requests
– Communicate effectively with our vendors and follow up consistently
– Maintain excellent external communication, timely response to customer needs, and an overall customer-centric approach
– Lead the resolution of vendor issues, and anticipate and resolve issues before they arise
– Maintain excellent internal customer service through timely responses and effective communication with the rest of the team
– Support the team with problem resolution by collecting and organizing information, updating records to ensure accuracy, and other special projects or work as needed.

Bonus Points if You:
• Have worked in operations before
• Have experience with dumpster rentals or waste management
• Have knowledge of Quickbooks, MS Word, and Excel
• Are proficient in Google Sheets and Gmail
