Option Trading Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Option Trading Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in options trading, algorithmic trading, and automation. As an Options Trading Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated trading strategies focused on the US stock and options markets. Knowledge of trading platforms such as Thinkorswim, Tradestation, or Interactive Brokers is preferred, though not required. A proven track record with a win-to-loss ratio of 70/30 and a solid understanding of risk management principles is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement automated trading strategies for the US stock and options markets.

· Utilize algorithmic trading principles to optimize and execute trading strategies.

· Analyze market data, identify trading opportunities, and generate insights for decision-making.

· Backtest and simulate trading strategies using historical data to evaluate performance.

· Monitor and maintain automated trading systems, making necessary adjustments as required.

· Collaborate with traders and developers to understand requirements and technical solutions.

· Stay updated with the latest developments in options trading, algorithmic trading, and financial markets.

· Adhere to ethical trading practices and comply with relevant financial regulations.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in options trading, algorithmic trading, or related roles.

· In-depth knowledge of US stock and options markets, including different trading strategies.

· Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or R for developing automated trading systems.

· Familiarity with brokerage APIs and trading platforms is a plus (Thinkorswim, Tradestation, or Interactive Brokers).

· Proven track record with a win-to-loss ratio of 70/30 in trading strategies.

· Strong quantitative and analytical skills for data analysis and strategy development.

· Experience in backtesting and simulation of trading strategies.

· Excellent risk management capabilities to build robust trading systems.

· Effective communication skills to collaborate with traders and stakeholders.
