ABOUT THE ROLE: 
As the Oracle OPERA Property Management System (PMS) Specialist at our Service Desk, you’ll serve
as the foremost contact for all OPERA PMS-related concerns. This position necessitates a profound
knowledge of the system, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work autonomously.
Being the chief expert in this area, it’s crucial for you to be proactive and fully accountable. You’ll manage
all Oracle PMS-related issues escalated by the helpdesk team.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
In this role, you will get to…
Work alongside internal teams, clients and if needed, OPERA support to resolve issues related to
OPERA PMS.
Take full ownership and offer premier support for all OPERA PMS-related matters, with a special
emphasis on IFC OPERA Interfaces.
Oversee, renew, and implement SSL certificates for OPERA systems, ensuring data security.
Address any complications arising from SSL expiration or compatibility without delay.
Regularly oversee and modify OPERA PMS settings to ensure peak performance, compliance,
and efficient interfacing, which encompasses tablespace and database management for OPERA
PMS.
Engage actively with vendors to guarantee integration of OPERA PMS, concerning IFC, OPI and
OXI interfaces.

REQUIREMENTS: 
On day one, we will expect you to…
Possess and display comprehensive knowledge of OPERA PMS, including its primary functions,
advantages, and constraints.
Have extensive experience with OPERA PMS in terms of its usage, support, and deployment.
have experience with Helpdesk ticketing systems
have experience with remote support applications
have excellent written and verbal communication skills
have a fully functional and up-to-date computer with which to perform duties
be willing to install next-generation endpoint protection on the computer
be a current resident of the Philippines and can perform work from there
be willing to work in Pacific Time (8:00am-5:00pm PDT) corresponding to 8:00pm – 5:00am PH
time, if DST
Possess prior customer service experience or a strong orientation towards user-centric support.
Possess a stable high-speed internet connection with a cellular backup to ensure consistent
online availability and to address potential connectivity issues.
Must have a high-quality headset for clear audio communication and a quiet, dedicated
workspace to maintain professionalism and focus during work hours.

What separates the best applicants:
Familiarity with hospitality applications like Point-of-Sale systems, Door Lock systems, and other
analogous applications.
Understanding of OPERA Payment Interface (OPI) and the ability to address any related challenges.
Expertise in OPERA Exchange Interface (OXI) to assure effective data exchange and integrations
with external systems.
