Organic Skincare Formulator

Natural Heroes is a European company focused on open-sourcing cosmetics. We believe anyone can make their own skin and hair care, and with our product, recipes and kits we make it very easy to do.

This year we will launch multiple DIY kits and Finished products for skin and haircare and cleaning products. Our goal is to make formulating easy and accessible to everyone and convince people it is just as easy as cooking. We already have released 1 kit and lined up 3 kits for Q1; a balm, lipbalm, bathbomb and deodorant. We are currently working on a shampoo bar, conditioner bar, bodywash bar and bodylotion bar/ bodybutter. All kits need to be dummy proof and for every kit we will release a finished product.

You are the right candidate when you have:

– At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
– Experience with organic / natural ingredients.
– A background in chemistry or study in cosmetic formulating (formula botanica).
– Proven expertise in scaling product formulations for mass production, understanding of pH, microbial growth, and interactions between chemical ingredients.
– Experience in ensuring the stability and storage conditions of natural products.

– Detail-Oriented and Analytical: Capable of conducting thorough research and analysis to ensure product safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance.
– A real problem solver: Skilled in identifying and overcoming the challenges associated with product scalability and preservation.
– An excellent team player, able to work closely with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to market.
– Super creative and always thinking of innovative ideas

– Able to work in our timezone (Amsterdam)
– Available to work full time (40 hours)
