My name is Nick, co-founder and CEO of Spyglass. We are a venture backed startup with team members in New York and San Francisco. In short, Spyglass provides a security platform for data teams. We are looking for a remote team member to join and help us scale our sales development efforts.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for an ambitious individual to help with our outbound sales efforts, specifically our outbound calling efforts
The primary responsibilities of the Sales Development Assistant include:
1) Outbound Calling:
— Calling targeted individuals via researched lists
— Communicating Spyglass’s primary value proposition (with our defined scripts and training)
— Tactfully answering questions and handling objections
2) Appointment Setting:
— Scheduling introduction meeting with qualified and interested prospects
— Coordinate meetings for the Spyglass team (using Google Calendar)
3) Data Entry and Note Taking:
— Capturing activity and notes in Salesforce and Google Documents
— Taking notes on common objections and questions to help with script iteration
4) General Special Projects
— As a startup, we will have various research projects that we will need your help with that will be similar to the above mentioned responsibilities
Qualifications:
— College degree is preferred
— Previous experience in a similar role
— Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
— Attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and record keeping
— Experience with Google Workspace (Documents, Sheets, Calendar etc) and Salesforce is a plus
Work Schedule:
— 9am to 5pm Eastern Time (can be adjusted to 9am to 5pm Pacific Time if preferable)
— Open to part time or full time hires
Interview Process:
1) Complete the writing test and application (below in “How to Apply”)
2) Once we’re able to review and decide to more forward, complete an assignment (2-hours of work)
3) 45-minute interview via Google Meet video conference with myself
