ASSIGNMENT:
In this realistic, but fictional role-play scenario, you are a member of Relevance AI’s sales team:
“Over the last few weeks, you have been reaching out to potential clients, presenting the benefits of our solution, and requesting a scheduled meeting to further discuss these benefits.
Your objective is to secure a 30-minute Zoom meeting with each prospect.
As a member of the Relevance AI sales team, you have access to a range of resources: message templates, digital tools, and a supportive team to whom you can pose any questions.”
Below are five responses you’ve received from prospects. Your task is to navigate each situation effectively. Please provide the following for each example:
1. Your proposed response to the prospect. What would you reply?
2. An explanation of the rationale behind your response. Why?
3. what action you would take (if any)? For example, “send a calendar invite to the prospect”, “create a Task in the CRM to follow”, “ask your team about what the best response would be” up etc.
1. John Smith:
“Hi, it looks good and there are certainly good use cases for the tool. Not sure how it would deal with my specific use case though.”
2. Lisa Miller:
“How much does it cost?”
3. Tom Wilson:
“Your tool looks amazing! At the moment we’re not looking to onboard any new tooling however, maybe in 3-6 month time.”
4. Emma Thomas:
“I’m interested! Let’s meet.”
5. Anna White:
“Thanks for reaching out – yes, we are exploring Chat GPT and the GPT-4 API. However, that is for limited use cases – I believe the best value we can get is by fine-tuning open-sourced LLMs for our use cases. There are challenges such as maintaining long-running context.”
