Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, compassionate and trustworthy team member to join our team as a Business Development Representative. You will make low pressure outbound sales calls to our prospects. 1/3 of the time will be completing research and 2/3 of the time will be reaching out to potential clients.

Job Requirements:
1. You must have excellent English speaking abilities.
2. You must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.
3. You must have a solid internet connection and a quiet place to work.
4. You must be able to work during American business hours.
5. You must have excellent phone communication skills.

A call will go something like this:

You: “Hello, is the owner available?”

Them: “Yes, I am the owner.”

You: “Excellent, my name is Sarah/George– I believe your website is , is that right?”

Them: “Yes, that is us.”

You: “Awesome, the reason I ask is your company was identified my manager as a great candidate to take advantage of a BETA test of a new sales training program that we believe will motivate your technicians to talk to the neighbors of your existing customers– {company name} will get more clients and your technicians will earn more money! We are pretty excited about it and are looking for 10 {industry} companies to join our BETA test program. You’d get access to our solution for a year at no cost. Would it be alright if we sent you an email to see if you’d be a good fit?

Them: “Yeah, I guess that would be alright.”

You: “Excellent, what is your best email address?”

Them: “

You: “Excellent, and what is your first name?”

Them: “John.”

You: “Fantastic. It was nice talking to you John.

We need someone to have genuine and pleasant conversations with our prospects. We will use an auto dialer and CRM.
