As the Outreach and Link Building Specialist you will be responsible for developing and executing outreach campaigns to secure high-quality backlinks and improve client’s website’s authority and search engine rankings. You will also be responsible for identifying and building relationships with relevant websites and influencers, tracking link-building efforts, and analyzing the impact of your campaigns. The Outreach and Link Building Specialist will have a proven track record of successful link building, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a thorough understanding of SEO principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute outreach campaigns to secure high-quality backlinks from relevant websites and influencers.
Identify and build relationships with relevant websites and influencers for link building opportunities.
Conduct thorough research to identify potential link-building opportunities and competitor backlinks.
Track and report on link-building efforts and analyze the impact of campaigns on website authority and search engine rankings.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and link-building best practices.
Collaborate with other teams, including content and digital marketing, to align link-building efforts with overall marketing strategies.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to meet KPIs.
Key Performance Indicators:
Number of high-quality backlinks acquired
Domain Authority (DA) and Page Authority (PA) improvements for the website
Referral traffic from backlinks acquired
Number of outreach campaigns conducted
Increase in the website’s search engine rankings for targeted keywords
Improvement in overall website traffic and engagement metrics
Effective use of resources and meeting deadlines
Anchor text diversity: The number of unique anchor texts used in link-building efforts
Link-building outreach success rate: The success rate of link-building outreach efforts, is measured as a percentage of emails sent that resulted in a link being acquired. This KPI shows the effectiveness of link-building outreach efforts and can be used to refine outreach strategies.
Creating high-quality content that attracts natural links from external websites.
Pitching HARO and links achieved.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in outreach and link building.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Google Analytics and other SEO tools.
Understanding of SEO principles and link-building best practices.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with outreach tools such as BuzzStream, SEMRush, and Ahrefs.
